Hello Gil,First of all Gil,congratulations on your letter re
registration,you have put it all in a nutshell.As a ex-programer way back
in the old days of the Commodore 64 and the good but badly supported M.S.X
I agree with all you say,the thieves and pirates in those days eventually
caused me to pack up computering completely. Now that the net has drawn me
back I find that we are still blessed(sic) with the same motley shower that
were around then nothing much has changed in seventeen years as I see
it,let me say that these remarks only apply to those to whom it is directed
and they know themselves who they are,but Gil (and Ollie if he's reading
this)we are going to have one hell of a fight to keep this Amiga alive so
let us all do the right thing and pay our dues and respect to those that
deserve it,and as somebody has mentioned a certain group of us I feel I
must say a word to them,..do not write us OLD FARTS off..we are still here
and our intelligence and respect for others does not disappear as we become
old farts,I am now 74 and we were brought up to show some respect to those
that we learnt from or those that tried to help us.To all genuine Amigans I
would quote an old aircrew saying."NIL BASTARDO CARBORUNDUM" Don't let the
******** grind you down.Incidently Gil I have no trouble with V3 printing
except that if I try to abort the print before it has finished then it does
crash the whole shebang...My printer is a second hand Star LC-200 bought
for 8 off a car boot sale here in Norfolk(God's County).I will now climb
down off this soap-box and run for shelter as I am expecting some flak from
some of our critics,Cheerio Mate,Len.
