I have studied your list of your plugin directory -- as I am sure Zapek
does to -- and in my opinion it looks just fine, because you have
both:
> vflash.vplug 22540 ----rwed Saturday 19:49:18
> vflash_68030fpu.module 188384 ----rw-d Saturday 19:23:30
installed in the directory.
So in lack of a better suggestion, I have found one thing that is
different between your setup and mine. I could also ask -- does your
Search plugin work? We now know, that at least your PDF plugin works.
See the following three files:
> vflash.vplug 22540 ----rwed Saturday 19:49:18
> search.vplug 6508 ----rwed Yesterday 18:29:26
> Vpdf.VPlug 62200 ----rwed Thursday 20:08:22
There is one thing that is different between flash/search and PDF plugins.
If Voyager's "Search for plugin function" for some reason is case-sensitive
and Voyager is searching for "#?.VPlug" it will not find "vflash.vplug"
or "search.vplug".
It is an stupid suggestion, I know that, but it is the best I can do. So
try renaming "vflash.vplug" to "VFlash.VPlug" and see what happens.
My plugins are named as follows:
Search.VPlug 6508 ----rwed Yesterday 00:43:58
VFlash.VPlug 22540 ----rwed Saturday 19:49:18
Vpdf.VPlug 62200 ----rwed Thursday 20:08:22
and here everything works just fine.
Hey, I just got an idea. Why don't I try to rename my "VFlash.vplug"
and see what happens -- must remember to flush the memory, perhaps it
is resident libraries or something. Two seconds...
Yes, that's it!! :-))) Make sure the extension is "#?.VPlug" and
everything works just fine.
Zapek: What is your opinion? Shouldn't this be handled case-insensitive?
Uffe Holst
And CC: to you privately so you can get the solution as fast as possible.
