I would just like to say that I installed V3.1 last night and so far I have found it
very good.

One area that has definately improved, for me, is JS support. As indication of this
pull up a chair whilst I tell you a story :-)

My ISP's portal site, www.gtonline.net, has two oval buttons in the middle of the
center frame, one says Telepages and the other Worldpages. These are Java buttons so
obviously they won't work. However below each of these are underlined links to text
only versions.

In previous versions of V clicking on these presented you with a list of the options
which were repeated ie the first option appeared again below the last option.
Selecting any of these options, however, didn't do anything.

Now these options work. The most important one for me is Free Services and Control
Center 'cos from here I can upload pages to the website that I maintain,
www.gtonline.net/community/gtba. My ISP don't yet have ftp facilities so every page
has to be uploaded individually :-(

Prior to this release I was forced to use the PC at work to do this but now I can
finally add the line on the home page that I have been wanting to add since I started
- No Microsoft products are used in maintaining this website -.

Now all I have to do is make the pages totally W3.org compliant :-/

Sorry this was so long just wanted to express my happiness and gratitude.
