I just open X-ARC, slect the programme, click on the install button, and off it goes
with the typical installer pop-up windows.
Sometimes use lha x into a temporary directory, and then install from there. In
the case of Voyager V3.2 and Flash V1.2 I used X-ARC.
That's all I know.
As I said, I haven't tried the straight 'installer' yet.
