Well if these sub-programs stay there for minutes or hours I guess there is something 
else going on.
The Voyager app closes and the window closes in my case. it has ALL the appearances of 
closing but   TOP   shows stuff is still running and I have a large amount of memory 
that isn't released.


Ignoring this intermittent problem, let's get to a consistent problem.
Even at it's best, when   TOP   shows image decoder, network server,  the DNS servers 
closed.


I still have 2.2MB of memory that is not released after starting and then quiting 
Voyager.
That should be of some concern, especially when  avail flush   doesn't release any 
more.
