I know the following suggestion does not address the actual problem,
but it may act as a workaround to ease the translating text function
you want:
Once you get the webpage displayed which you want to print, highlight
and copy the text(s) of interest to the clipboard. Paste it into a
wordprocessor or text editor which you can have handily running on
another screen, and print from there. The results are likely to be
far more presentable and useful than any webpage printout.
