Gorden:

I know that sometimes it takes my copy of Amster a while to connect,
are you giving it enough time?  Also, when it does connect it's kind
of anti-climatic.  No beeps, just a simple change from "looking up" to
"connected."  I know they sound like stupid questions, but they have
to be asked...

Finally, have you tried to download a second copy of AmSter?  Maybe, a
file got deleted that you don't know about?
