Hi Julian,

You are right, it does and always feels weird to correspond (voice,
mail, E-Mail) with another Julian, especially, if he spells his name the
same way ("Julien" and "Giulian" are alternate ways.). It makes me feel
as though I have an automatic kinship, whether true or not. I wonder if
that happens to people who have more common names, like John or Robert
or James?

I checked out the Aminet.net site and found more than one file for
PFS. I did not download any of them because I did not want to waste
time and disk space by downloading the wrong files. I saw files men-
tioning version 4 and version 5 of PFS. I also saw files which did
special things for the filesystem, that were add-ons. I also saw an
article or two which reviewed it (version 1.0). Which files should I
download?

BTW, I am sending this as a cc: to the list, just in case someone
else comes up with some better ideas that could help both of us. Also,
from what I have been reading, from the various messages, PFS appears to
be the most stable and robust of the alternate filesystems for the Amiga.

   'til next time.

                                         Julian.
