IMHO, using JavaScript for links (and form submission) is lame coding,
this is however not a good reason for not implementing it since a lot
of 'webmasters' does not know about <A HREF=...
The worst, and most recent use of this I have encountered, was on the
swedish telephone company's (Telia's) homepage, when I ordered my ADSL
connection. Not only that they used JavaScript for form submitting,
but they complained about my OS selection (Other, as I use Solaris 2.6
- 2.8, and AmigaOS) and my home town (even if their customer support have
confirmed - twice - that my apartment is ADSL ready)..
Requirements for ADSL: windows, network adapter.. suure :)
Real requirements: any OS with a TCP/IP stack supporting DHCP, and a nic
