Apologies if this comes a second time. --- Forwarded message follows --- A bit of help here? http://playbyweb.com I've created a new user there and I try to log in by putting my username and password in the appropriate boxes, then clicking 'LOGIN'. It then shows an intermediate page ('You might have to click on the button below'), then refreshes and goes back to the starting page where I tried to log in. What *should* happen is when I get back to the starting page, the login and password boxes should be gone and replaced by a 'logout' option. However, as V goes back to the starting page, it's the same as before I tried logging in, complete with the username and password boxes. No, it's not a cache thing -- I have my cache set to 0, *and* I tried reloading. Neither changed anything. I've tried logging in with AWeb and IBrowse as well -- but they have the same problem. For some reason when I'm sent back to the starting page by the refresh, I'm not logged in even though I put in the right password. (If I had put in the wrong password I would've gotten an error announcement, I've tried.) I've checked Cookie Browser, and I've gotten two cookies set by playbyweb.com, so at least it got the cookies set. So where's the problem? Oddly enough, I've gotten it to work with *one* browser on my Amiga. Lynx. :) It works with Lynx, the username and password prompts go away and I get logged in properly. Why doesn't it work with V and other graphical browsers?
