Arse!, what we've got so far is a half working pile of... That "little
feature" is used in most web sites these days, and I'm sick bollocking
around with a half working browser. The thing that annoys me is that
there is about half a dozen "little" things wrong that could be
fixed/implemented in a day or two and it would keep us all happy while
they go and do whatever else they want. Some of these are:
1. Javascript onclick( )
<makes sites un-navagable - have to manually view source and look for
links>
2. Max length of text input box
<if the HTML says MAXLENGTH 10, V stops at 9! - makes sites unusable>
3. Keyboard use in form input. When I hit RETURN the form should
submit!!!
<just bloody annoying>
...can't remember the rest...
If I was on that development team (or team leader), I'm telling
you...I'd be lighting a few fires under, and getting some of the
programmers up off their arses... if you've no time, or this is a hobby,
or you don't get paid enough for this or (insert any other excuse here)
then release the source, let some of us help with the debugging or
coding, or be honest and say there's nothing being done at the moment.
To be honest I think they're waiting to release a full new version
(chargeable to registered users) and if so, fine, but if that's the case
it had better be *fully functional*...
OK I'm going to stop now
