While you are waiting for a copy of the files, use a directory
utility (like SID, DiskMaster2, DirWorks, DOpus, etc.) or open the
shell. What you want to find out is for what the protection bits are
set. If you see something like -wed, then you know that the file is
writeable, executable, and deleteable, but not readable. If that is
the case, then the amiga will not be able to copy the file. By chang-
ing those bits to rwed, you should now be able to copy them. Of
course, all this presupposes that nothing is wrong either with the
copy of the file, you have, or the disk, itself.
