Gil,

When you stated your finding difficulty with AWeb working with SSL,
remember, AWeb, itself, has no SSL plug-in; it depends on something
like Miami, with its SSL files. This then brings two things, to con-
sider. The first, is whether you (anyone) has update/upgraded your
Miami SSL program and file, with the latest (Now it is version 2.21).

If you have done the above, then, the problem might have to do with
a sneaky thing that Navigator/Communicator and Internet Explorer have.
It appears that, even though certain encryptions are still not allowed,
in the U.S., Netscape and MS have still provided a means by which you
can obtain those files. Then both use that type of encryption, all
over. You can obtain a similar type of file from Voyager, by down-
loading everything from their European site, which also allows you to
download the Miami SSL file usable in Europe.

If the above procedure, still does not work, then you might not
have properly installed the Miami SSL program and files.

Anyway, all that is just MHO.

                                         Julian.
