According to one of my reference books, the type of wordwrapping in a
text area in a form can be specified by the author of the webpage.
It can be either none (as you describe it), virtual (as you want it
ie) and physical (sends the carriage returns).
However this is not mentioned in my HTML 4 ref book, so perhaps it is
non standard or has been removed. And whether V would pay any
attention to such an attribute, I'm not sure.
