"Maximum memory usage" is I assume in the Cache prefs? This isn't some kind
of limit on memory V can use for any purpose, it's how mch it'll use for the
in-memory cache.
If you're running out, I recommend you turn the memory cache off COMPLETELY
by setting the size to '0'. Or, if you don't want to do that, don't cache
images, and set the size to something like 250k, which will hold a whole load
of HTML pages.

Yes it did, looking at my charts I see the above two bugs have been logged
since 3.3.19 and 3.3.35 respectively. This generally means there are more
important bugs to fix than a quirky status bar, and the inability to pretend
to be another browser.
It's quite good that all the bugs we find are simple niggles rather than
showstoppers ;)
