Previously I posted in part: >Folks, >I have had Voyager up and running fine under OS3.9, DOpus Megelland >II, PPC and Voyager version 3.2. ....And then the system crashed! > >I have no idea what crashed it other than over load? >. >. >..It loads and works fine until I go to a site which wants to open another window like >(2)Voyager. THe system crashes. System reported that the disc where I keep CACHE (V3:) was not >validated. It is not site dependant. If I start Voyager going to its first site a suspected offending site, it loads fine. Running Cache Browser also crashed the system. I deleted Cache, reformatted the zip disc where cache has been working fine for 18 months. It was kindly suggested that I install FBlit. The installation instructions caution one not to use FBlit if one has a graphics card. I do (CyberVisionPPC)and I installed FBlit. FBlit crashed my system during startup. Not surprised as the FBlit.guide warned me. I uninstalled FBlit. So... I think I somehow really screwed up my cache. Pruning, deleting, reformatting did not solve the problem. Any suggestions? Is there a hidden file, pointer or something that I am not considering. I think my only resort is to try and uninstall voyager and reinstall it. Just wish I knew cause and effect rather than guessing. Is there a cache stack or any stack that may have got changed in the crash? would this also be a cause for the Browser to crash the system? Thanx in advance.
