What makes you think sound.library would be any faster than AHI? If it
were a device independant API for soundcards you wanted, isn't that what
AHI is?
AHI does exactly what you want it to. If it slows your system down, tough
titties - go back to he built-in Amiga chipset sound if you can't hack it.
(btw are you using the original AHI v4, or the new MorphOS v5? You know
what they say about beta versions..)
