i think implementing a JIT compiler is the least of your problems.
There have been a few efforts to bring Kaffe to amigaos. The most interesting
one where someone had began to create a native AWT for it. There was another
Kaffe
compile floating about which had a X AWT (the one which comes with it). I
tested it and had a few reasonable results.
