Hi ,

there are two things about V³'s behaviour I just ran
across:

  a. V³ still has the old, well known problem
about correctly recognizing if the TCP/IP
     stack is online or not.
The result: firing V³ with Miami(Dx) offline,
accessing cached pages, then goin' omline,
V³ doesn't load any cache accessed pages,
the net error window pop up.
(Annoying, because you have to start V³ over again.)

  b. V³ (offline browsing) often pops up the error window
'page is not in cache', but when searching through the
cache manually, the desired pages are chached.
One also might recognize, that after goin' online
and invoking V³ these pages are loaded from cache,
not from the net. (Really strange!)

BTW, what's the use of the V³'s menu item
     'setting - offline browsing'?
(I thought this should be done automatically?
Nevertheless it doesn't clear up any of the above
      mentioned issues.)

Ciao
