My Yahoo STILL does not work at all in V. Only the top few lines display, then
locks up. 3.2 at least displayed it, even if incorrectly. (my.yahoo.com)
Still having numerous problems with some pages using very tiny fonts. Same
pages with IB are fine. Using the same fonts and ranges in both programs.
http://www.nba.com/spurs/index.html now displays columns on top of each other.
Worked perfectly before.
Speed seems slower. Pages with lots of graphics cause the cursor to skip around
when moving the mouse while a page is loading. This has been since 3.3.79.
Noticable on the spurs page, and nytimes, amiga.com, and many others. Very
aggravating <sp>.
Hotmail also doesn't work unless you disable JS and spoof as V. Spoofing as any
other with JS on causes login errors. After logging in and enabling JS, trying
a multiple delete causes V to lock up
Also having problems since last beta getting Streamer to work. Just d/l it a
couple weeks ago. Seems to crash V. Haven't really tried it on IB. Any ideas?
Used StreAmi OK to listen to the Gateway event. BTW, where are all those great
announcements promised? Just the one about Sharp. While that's nice and all, I
believed there to be more from Mc Ewen's press release from almost 2 months ago.
Really would like some basic functions returned like keyboard control/commands
and cut-n-paste on pages. Also, when will lists display correctly? Any reason
why that hasn't been put back in yet? I must use IB for a forums site to see
lists correctly. IB is soooo slow loading pages for me. It seems to delay a
lot loading pages. V is much faster, but doesn't display stuff like it should.
I seriously think that IB tells the site not to send info while it's decoding
it. It only d/l a few k at a time. At least V doesn't.
When will a true release come out? Betas are great for letting us know that
work is progressing, but they can also be frustrating when it feels like some
things are going backwards rather than forwards.
