Looks just fine here in the internal beta. You must be doing something
wrong.

There was a bug whereby pages with lots of table backfilling, or many
small transparent images (for instance, that page you mentioned), would
slow V down. Not anymore, it got fixed.
There's also the issue of how it "looks" - V's new layouter LOOKS like it's
very slow, but is in fact much faster in drawing pages than the previous
versions, and IBrowse and AWeb. It's an optical illusion of how the page
is constructed when you scroll..
