FWIW, I run both FBlit and FText and have seen no problems with any
of the later versions of V relating to either patch. (Note, FText
versions below 1.6 are unstable, and V3.1.x used to nuke with FBlit
here.)
I also run PoolMem, BlizKick, BlazeWCP and a whole bunch of patches,
yet I'm in the lucky camp who think the latest V is pretty stable. :^)
In the past, I've found that many inconsistent V-crashes can be
reduced by checking for the latest MUI files (not just the Vapor ones)
and making sure the system is undamaged by other programs. Seems that
V (not unreasonably) is particularly sensitive to semi-trashed Amigas
from other iffy software.
Cheers,
Ian
