For the record, I have not suggested that anything in the concept of
compatibility to common-use code is inherently wrong. I merely stated
my concern that, since the non-standards are not documented, some care
would be needed to look at the exact behaviour.
You have made it very clear that you believe that sufficient care has
been taken. Well and good, why couldn't you say that in the first
place without all the offensive ranting?
Your mission, though I doubt you'll accept it, is to understand that
users cannot read the minds of the developers, are entitled to hold
opinions different to your own and, if you invite them to comment on
the development, may tell you things you didn't want to know.
