i wasnt originally going to post this, as i thought it might lower
myself to matts level. however after some thought and since
it mentions some of you specifically, i thought it quite valid for
you to know exactly how one of the voyager 'developers' thinks of you.

I posted this response to a thread where someone posted a "bug" to
the list, knowing fullwell that it was not a Voyager problem (or so
it seemed) just to display some Microsoft VBScript server error and
gloat about how it had happened.
And then when I post output from IBrowse (and mark it as such) to
prove a point, I get asked how my copy of VOYAGER manages to
copy & paste.
I don't know.. maybe I wouldn't HAVE to fly off the handle if people on
the list PAID ATTENTION TO THE FUCKING MAILS IN THE FIRST PLACE
so that I WOULDN'T HAVE TO CONTINUALLY REPEAT MYSELF AND GET
UNDULY AGITATED.
You know what annoys me more than Microsoft bashing on this list?
When people decide it's much more interesting to debate my apparent
demeanor, mannerism and customer service technique.
Exo, I know you have a shitload of bugs sitting back there waiting
to be reported. Why don't you report them instead of wasting your
time on shit like this? I don't have time to respond to mails like this
on the list, and when I do (which is why I suspect you post them) all
you do is complain more.
I resent the fact as the only person with any clue on this list who
is both a Vapor member and actually TALKS to the users, that I am
constantly abused by wankers like you who think it's not possible
for them to have reported a bug and for the developers (that would
be me) to not have fixed them properly - or that they should somehow
be treated with something other than contempt for their attitude
of constant doubt, questioning and unappreciation for anything that
ever gets done in their favour.
I'm fed up of people telling me shit that is ABSOLUTELY FUCKING
OBVIOUS like I would never have thought about it. I'm a fucking
software consultant, I specialise in quality control, black and clear
box testing - I know what the fuck I'm doing. So do I deserve the
abuse? I don't. What happens when people decide to abuse my services
or myself? I abuse back - it's only fair that I do. I challenge you to find
a mail I replied to in a not-so-friendly manner that WASN'T the most
contemptible shit imaginable spewed forth from a user.
I'm sick to the back teeth of you fucking self-righteous Amiga users
and your fucking retarded sensibilities. If you don't like the work I
do and the support I give you can fuck right off because I am in no
way obliged to do it. When I do, however, I expect my fixes, my
testing procedures, and the stuff I post to the list to be read,
absorbed and respected. Of course, Ian Greenaway, Michael Merkel
and that gang of standards retards assume that a fix so quickly
implemented cannot be comprehensive.. there is no respect in doubting
the person working for you.
I got this kind of shit from people when I worked in PC support, all
I got back from users was abuse, total disrespect for my work, and
always questioning my methods: it doesn't matter that in the end they
got a fucking working PC out of it, or that I managed to back up all
their important data, whatever it was it was quite obviously a reason
to vent their fucking spleen of computer-rage at the first tech they
could get their hands on. I quit that job, because I fucking hated it.
Why do I even bother? Because occasionally I enjoy the work I do
and occasionally I get a tad of praise for it. But when it's few and
far between I'm not really motivated to do it. Like now.
Just get fucked. Don't mail me again.
