Hi All,
With due respect, one set of questions were never posed,
since Norbett did not volunteer the subject. No one asked
Norbett whether his Linux box is based on the Intel processor,
or the PPC processor. We know that the UAE is supposed to work
on a PPC setup, and, that the new AmigaOS/DOS 4 is supposed
to, also work on a PPC setup. Therefore, I shall ask:
"Norbett, which processor runs your Linux box? If it is a
PPC, have you considered running the UAE and AmigaOS/DOS 4 on
it?"
I decided asking because, from what others have said, they
have found Amiga programs running well, using the emulations,
and running faster than on the Amiga, itself. Since AmigaOS/-
DOS 4 is, supposedly, designed to work with the PPC, I would
think it would be a "slam-dunk."
Well, I posed the questions.
