Hello All,

As some of you know, my background includes programming.
Also, as many of you do not know, I have not had the oppor-
tunity to program for a large organization (corporation, col-
lege, hospital, etc.), and, thus I cannot always keep my skills
honed. As some of you know, I teach part-time, at Herbert H.
Lehman College of CUNY, as an Adjunct Lecturer, in the Math
and Computer Science Department.

Realizing that, since I wish to hone my skills with COBOL,
BAL, and FORTRAN, and, that they are on mainframes, I asked
Lehman College for a computer account. The director told me
that, for me to use the computer, remotely, from my home, I
would need a TN3270 emulation. He, also, stated that there
are freely distributable versions.

This leads me to the following questions:

1. Would that emulation be needed if I use one of the emula-
tions found in JR-Comm or Terminus?

2. If I must download such an emulation, to use through my
Web browsers (AWeb and Voyager), is a TN3270 emulator avail-
able for the Amiga?

I am aware that I can search Google and Aminet, but, I
figure, my time spent, will be much shorter, by first asking
those who might be using such an emulator, already, or know
someone who is using it. Thank you for your patience with
this OT subject.

                                    Regards,

                                    Julian.
