I have encountered a problem with the VPN client on a 64bit Vista laptop. I have a handful of 64bit clients running the Shrew Soft VPN client without a problem. All of a sudden one of them would get disconnected within a few seconds after the status said Tunnel Enabled it would say Session Disconnected by Remote Gateway. It seems to only be affecting this one machine. We are connectingto a Cisco VPN Concentrator 3000. I tried some of the config tweaks suggested on the forums and then I tried to remove the vpn client software and reinstalling it and now it just hangs at the Pre-Installing Drivers portion of the installer and never completes. I have verified the services and files associated with the old install were removed but still cannot get it to reinstall. I have also tried to revert to a previous System Restore date and it still will not install. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
