The above NONE policies are being created with an invalid remote ID
value. 0.0.0.0 is obviously wrong and will cause the communications
problem you describe. I was able to re-produce this scenario when the
VPN gateway was local to the client, but not when it was a hop away. I
just uploaded a 2.1.7 beta-1 which contains a first attempt at a fix
for this issue. If it doesn't work, I have another idea to try. Please
let me know how it goes.
