Not sure if it will help or not, but if you are connecting from home to your
office network, make sure that your home router has a different IP then that of
the network you are connecting to.

Subject: [vpn-help] session temrinated by gateway
Date: Tue, 28 Dec 2010 16:41:28 +0000

Hello,

I have red all the posts but I can not find a possible solution for my issue.

I am using Shrew vpn client 2.1.7 on XP (SP3). I can connect but after 30
seconds or so I get the message 'session terminated by gateway'. If I do open a
connection with the remote network either by opening a browser session or ping
to a machine the VPN connection stays up (stable). What can be the cause of
this?

Best regards,

Pieter
