Hello, I am extremely new to *vpp*, and I tried to follow both this <https://wiki.fd.io/view/VPP/Build,_install,_and_test_images#Build_A_VPP_Package> and this <https://wiki.fd.io/view/VPP/Pulling,_Building,_Running,_Hacking_and_Pushing_VPP_Code> to build and run *vpp *on this <https://gerrit.fd.io/r/gitweb?p=vpp.git;a=commit;h=0f438df9918911a976751f2391421cc8b4b6fdb7> revision. In both cases *vpp-dpdk-dkms *package was not neither built or installed.
I was able to fix this by running a couple of *make *commands inside *dpkg* directory, but there is no information about this on wiki and it seems that *build-root/vagrant/build.sh* also does not do this (not sure, whether it is intentional or not). The probable cause maybe is this <https://gerrit.fd.io/r/gitweb?p=vpp.git;a=commit;h=2ce7f9834ab55728520bff0dd15f8d82c10b95a0> commit. Regards, Pavel
