I don't see an ip6 packet with a link local destination. I can't do anything 
with a trace without the offending packet.

Do I infer correctly you have some tunnel decap nodes? As a guess to the cause 
of the problem, you should ensure all decapped packets go to ip6-local before 
ip6-lookup (and the same for ip4).

I was able to get away with core by enabling ip6 on all the interfaces with 
VPP. Is this a must requirement for Vpp-2005. Any help here is appreciated.
