please send me output of: extras/scripts/lsnet script and exact “create 
interface avf” commands you use….

Agree, still, please, do me a favour and try with latest, so I know i’m looking 
at the same thing.

I maintain deb packaging for i40 DKMS here:

https://github.com/dmarion/deb-i40e

You just need to run ./build and you should get .deb with latest i40 driver…
