Hoi,

Does https://gerrit.fd.io/r/c/vpp/+/45103 address the issue?

groet,
Pim

I see the same issue,
after adding the tap_plugin.so { enable } to startup,
VPP starts but I also cannot ping from the Linux name space, but but in VPP the ping is working,
this causes BGP sessions to fail

everything works as expected in 25.10
Best regards

The update to *26.02* brought along many changes that I can’t find
documented anywhere; unfortunately, it’s not a usable version for
me. Upgrading from *25.10* to *26.02* causes several things to
    stop working.

In addition to what has already been reported, the current issue
is that traffic between two instances (VM = Debian + VPP + FRR)
cannot be established from the Linux side, though it works from
VPP. For example, if I ping from Linux to the other instance, it
fails; if I ping from VPP, it works. Consequently, services (such
    as BGP) are not functioning.
