Folks,
There has been an ongoing discussion with VPP release management (Andrew
& Myself), CSIT and VPP with respect to the current state of VPP debian
packages produced as part of the VPP release cycle being uploaded to
packagecloud.io/fdio/release and what VPP images are being performance
testing in CSIT for both Trending data and CSIT Release Report data.
I am proposing that this be discussed in tomorrow's VPP and CSIT
meetings to come to an agreement on what images are required to be
included in release packages, how they are to be tested, and where this
is to be documented for a given VPP release. It would be best to come
to an agreement on this prior to the VPP 26.06 release, of which the RC1
milestone is next Wednesday May 20, 2026.
