Hi all,

I have a problem with a fresh install on RedHat 8.0, when I attempt to create a domain (or any option for that matter), I get: Create Domain: Permission denied.   All the permissions check out as shown below.   I have re-installed this several times, all with the same result.    I had a simular problem awhile back on a different system, but a re-install took care of that.  It did not this time, so I'm lost.

I can create a domain by command line, no problem.  I can edit that account in qmailadmin with no problem.   I would really love to get this working as I want to use the quotas.

Thanks for any help.

Michael

I just installed vqadmin 2.3.2 as follows:

./configure

            Current settings
---------------------------------------
vpopmail directory = /home/vpopmail
               uid = 509
               gid = 504
       cgi-bin dir = /var/www/cgi-bin
       vqadmin dir = /var/www/cgi-bin/vqadmin
[root@xtreme vqadmin-2.3.2]#
./make
./make install

no errors.

Permissions:
[root@xtreme vqadmin]# ls -la
total 84
drwxr-xr-x    3 vpopmail vchkpw       4096 Jan 29 22:43 .
drwxr-xr-x    4 root     root         4096 Jan 29 22:43 ..
-rw-r--r--    1 nobody   root          114 Jan 29 22:43 .htaccess
drwxr-xr-x    2 vpopmail vchkpw       4096 Jan 29 22:43 html
-rw-r--r--    1 vpopmail vchkpw        864 Jan 29 22:43 vqadmin.acl
-rwsr-sr-x    1 root     root        60720 Jan 29 22:43 vqadmin.cgi
[root@xtreme vqadmin]#
All the files in the html directory, have the same vpopmail:vchkpw settings.

I also chown'd all the files again, and that did not work either.
