you're very likely to use the util-vserver from Debian. That package is targetted towards the stable vserver and thus doesn't support the vproc security settings from the development vserver you use. Either disable the vserver-proc-security in the kernel options or use the util-vserver development release. This bug has already been filed on the Debian package. -- Best regards, Kilian
