well, kind of expected, your guest needs cleaning up ...

all services which are hardware related, like

 - setting the hwclock
 - configuring network devices
 - checking for new hardware
 - changing the keyboard layout
 - updating the boot splash screen ;)
 - ....

should be disabled in a proper guest ...

yup, usually (on non gentoo systems) it's simply done
by default (i.e. disabling all but minimal services)
but the gentoo recursive? service system makes it a 
little trickier ...

but I remember folks who have done it ...
