My setup has all (currently 6) vservers on 1 DRBD-partition (which is on 2 physical nodes), so I guess the symlinking would do in my situation?
In this case, using the gentoo startup script would be the favourite idea - but dont forget to enable the guest for "autostart" ;) Using the the vserver helper script directly will work also - in this case oyu must of course run the startup script on boot with autostart disabled
