That was "sys-apps/iproute2-2.6.15.20060110"; that is the stable
"x86" version
however, a test shows that the ~x86-version
(sys-apps/iproute2-2.6.16.20060323) shows the same behavior.
There is no other iproute2 in the portage tree.
