Hi Bruno, After setting up the same ipv6-address on the host system it works fine.... thanks for the help (and the patch in the first place)!
The documentation on http://linux-vserver.org/IPv6 however suggest that with version 0.30.212 it will be done all automagically when added to the interface configuration of the vserver (like there isn't a difference between ipv4 and 6 in configuration). With just ipv4 I didn't have to add the quest ip address to the host like I needed to do with ipv6.
