[vserver] Vserver and Gentoo

Greetings list,

How can one go about running a Gentoo system inside vserver.

I refer mainly to the fact that Gentoo uses startup scripts inside
/etc/runlevel rather than /etc/init.d

Any ideas on this subject would be extremely helpful.
