This is how I implemented combobox and mclistbox. I am running Debian 2.2
(potato).

tcl8.x and tk8.x are directories in /usr/lib.
1.downloaded combobox and mclistbox from source-forge extensions to /usr/lib
2. gzip -cd combobox.* | tar xvf -
gzip -cd mclistbox.* | tar xvf -
Now have /usr/lib/combobox.*/ and /usr/lib/mclistbox.*/ directories.
Next load of vtcl added them to the tool palette.

I'm a new player on the vtcl field, so maybe I just lucked out.
Don't know what to do about tix, BLT and others. I, too, could use some
help.

Cheers,
Bill Barnes
