Now I'm confused, but maybe that's because I'm still using the old vTcl
1.2.x.

I select a frame as a target area to insert a toolbar item or a compound.
Sometimes I have to use the right mouse pop-up menu to select "parent" to
get the frame that I want.

Then, as soon as I select to insert a compound or click an icon in the
toolbar, it inserts right away into the selected (highlighted) frame.

Has this changed from v1.2, or is it configurable? You'all are using a
mode where you "set" a widget and then it gets inserted when you click the
target point.
