I have two non-vtcl question that I thought someone out there may be able to
help with.
1) When writing a simple tcl application that I intend to run on a
Windows platform, how do I get the puts strings to show up in an MS-DOS or
equivalent window. I could provide a simple tk window to display the output
in, but it seems when you run a puts $s command the information should
automatically show up somewhere (ala UNIX).
2) When wrapping a UNIX application using tclPro and running it I
get a XTERM window that pops up, almost as if it were a top-level window,
yet nothing in my application calls for TK widgets. Is there a way to avoid
this window from popping up?
