You were on the right track, just the wrong option. 0-] The -justify
option specifies what justifiction MULTILINE text should have. For single
line text, you must instead specify the -anchor option. Like so:
fieldDataTable tag configure msgColumn -wrap 1 -justify left -multiline 1 -anchor w
eval fieldDataTable tag col msgColumn $COLUMNS(STATUS) $COLUMNS(DEVICEIP)
Should get you what you're looking for. I just added the -anchor w
option along with what you already had. 0-]
