Well, my goal is ultimately to be able to support multiple languages
through plugins that other people can maintain, as I don't have the
knowledge to support the other languages. But, toward the end that was
the original start of this discussion, I have now moved the widget libraries
into the new plugin architecture. So, each widget library is now considered
a plugin which can be easily removed.
I don't really only plan to support the core widgets and BWidgets
(as they're the only ones I use or recommend people use), so the others
will not even be part of the new release. If someone wants to port the
old vTcl work on them into plugins, they are more than welcome to do so.
I will try and document the plugin process thoroughly, as I hope to have
others add on to the designer as time goes on.
Oh, wait. I will add support for Tktable and Tablelist as well.
They are also favorites of mine (and Tktable is used by my company who
is currently paying me to do all this work on the builder). BLT, Itcl
and Tix will all be gone in the new application until someone decides to
make plugins out of them.
Any questions? Comments?
Damon
