I _finally_ found out why I wasn't getting transient windows (such as
several of vTcl's windows) decorated.
The man page (and my fvwm2rc file) is wrong. The option is singular:
Style "*" DecorateTransient
not plural:
DecorateTransients
Causes transient windows, which are normally left
undecorated, to be given the usual fvwm decora-
tions. Note that some pop-up windows, such as the
xterm menus, are not managed by the window manager
and still do not receive decorations.
Sheesh. Took me hours over weeks to figure this out! :-(
