I heard from a v8 user on a Sparc 4 who got the double increment at almost
1900. My UltraSparc was only 900. The difference must be due to the
internal compiler in v8.
Depending on your hardware, you probably have to bump up the first scale
from 2000 to something much larger, say 10000 with tickinterval 1000, for
example, in the following line of code:
scale .top17.fra18.sca22 \
-orient horiz -tickinterval 100.0 -to 1000.0 -variable num_loops \
It would help me to know what h/w you have and how high you had to set the
value. I plan to report this in case somebody thinks it can/should be
fixed.
