I use these compounds all the time, but I've never put widgets in a canvas
(or text) widget (yet!). Perhaps your problem is not the scrollable
canvas, but how you place widgets on the canvas. I _THINK_ the only way is
to do it at run time with canvas commands for the canvas widget, not by
placing them there interactively with vTcl. This is a guess for you. I
hope it helps...
