I'm a bit peculiar. My attitude is, in general, if a new version is released
and supported, I want to move to it as soon as I myself can.
On the other hand, some of my co-workers are in situations where they
can't spend every month upgrading, and need the code to be much more stable.
I recommended they upgrade to 8.0 from 7.6. But they waited. I moved
to 8.1 and recommended they not upgrade - too many potential gotchas'.
They waited. I moved to 8.2.0 and recommended they upgrade. They waited.
I moved to 8.2.1, then 8.2.2 - but they are still waiting.
Shrug. I'm using 8.2.2 exclusively for my own programming. I know that
in the past, I saw problem reportss on Windows. I don't use Windows,
so I don't know about the situation for certain, but I don't notice any
more Tk related bugs reported for Tk 8.2.2 than I did for 8.0.x.
